1. diet:

(3)常用短语:

(4)辨析:food和diet
二者均表示食物; 但food是一般用语,指任何可吃的东西,diet通常指维持健康的特定或定量的饮食;diet是可数名词,food是不可数名词,但在强调种类时为可数名词。

(4).词语辨析:fit 和suit
①fit作动词时,多指大小、形状合适,吻合;suit多指合乎需要,合(某人)之意,或(衣服、型式等)与......相配。
②fit 作形容词时,可与suitable(合适的)互换,be fit for/to do...=be suitable for/to do...。

1.【导读】

[知识分析] as的用法结构
as 1): 引导时间状语从句,表两个动作同时进行,相当于when.
as 2):引导方式状语从句,意为“按照……的方式.”
【导思】As 的用法小结
① 连词,“当……的时候.”
I watched her as she combed her hair.

② 连词,“按照……的方式。”引导方式状语从句
入乡随俗。 .
③ 连词,“因为、由于”,引导原因状语从句,其语气不如because强,通常为附加说明的理由,且是已知晓的原因,主句与从句没有逻辑上的因果关系。

④ 连词,“尽管,虽然”,引导让步状语从句,不放在句首,引起从句的语序发生异常。通常将从句的表语和状语放在as之前,此时可用though来代替。具体如下:

b. 分词+as+主语+系动词,如:
(虽然这本书写的很好了) , the author is not satisfied.
c. 名词+as+主语+系动词,如:

d. 副词+as+主语+谓语部分,如:
Much as I admire his courage, I don’t think he acted wisely.
e. 动词原形+as+主语+谓语其他部分,如:

⑤ 关系代词,“这一点,正如”

⑥ 引导比较状语从句,常为省略句

⑦ 介词,“作为…… (身份)”。

【导读】一个词由一种词类转到另一种或另几种词类而不发生词形的变化,称为转化(Conversion),英语中的转化是一个重要并有用的语法现象,本模块出现的是由名词向动词的转化:
1. 常见的转化为动词的名词有:

cash use house mother brother mask, etc.

一般将来时的will和be going to do的用法详述:
1.【导读】常用be going to do, 不用will的情况
1)表示现有情况下已知道的动作或行为,或者有迹象表明的情况。

2)表示经过事先考虑或安排后的意愿,用be going to do

4)be going to 可用于表示将来时间的条件状语从句,will却不能

Good afternoon, everyone. This is Li Hua at the school radio station. June 6, 2009 is the 14th National Eye Care Day. Today I will talk about how to protect our eyesight.
I am sure that you have noticed that the number of teenagers with short-sightedness is increasing.
Why do so many children suffer from this problem? The main reason is that many students formed a bad habit of using their eyes, such as reading in bed or in a badly-lit room. The trouble is that children fall behind in their school work when they can’t see things clearly.
